Central Arizona College making computer classes accessible for students in Florence

FLORENCE, Ariz. – Central Arizona College will hold a three-week non-credit computer workshop at its Florence Center to help students become more familiar with using e-mail, surfing the Internet and performing basic personal computing skills.

Experiencing Computers will run for three consecutive Thursday afternoons from 1:30-3:30 p.m. starting April 23. The class also will meet on April 30 before concluding on May 7.

There is a flat $30 fee for the three-week session and enrollment is limited to the first 16 students who register for the course.

The informal class is driven by student questions and is an introduction to personal computers, the Windows operating system, and Windows-based programs.
