Central Arizona College massage clinic reopens Oct. 20 at Superstition Mountain Campus

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. – Central Arizona College’s soothing massage clinic at its Superstition Mountain Campus will reopen the week of Oct. 20 for the residents of Pinal County and surrounding area to enjoy.
Reservations are now being accepted for anyone wishing to enjoy a therapeutic massage performed by students who are enrolled in either the massage therapy degree or certificate program offered by the college.
Students gain hands-on experience by working in these clinics, while patients are charged a nominal fee to help cover costs associated with the program.
Central Arizona College’s clinics offer three types of massages - a 45-minute full-body massage ($25); a 20-minute chair massage ($13); and a two-hour hot rock massage ($50).

The clinic at Central’s Superstition Mountain Campus will run every Monday and Wednesday 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. from Oct. 20 through Dec. 3. The Superstition Mountain Campus is located at 273 East Old West Highway in Apache Junction.
Central Arizona College’s massage therapy certificate program focuses on the subject areas required for success as a massage therapist. This includes administration of various methods of therapeutic massage therapy utilizing knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, proper body mechanics, and legal and ethical issues.
Students enrolled in a certificate program are eligible to continue their education for a massage therapy A.A.S. degree from the college.
The students in the program ask for a courtesy 24-hour cancellation notice to ensure they can earn their required training hours.
