CALL Offers Fitness Class
May 23, 2008
PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - Here is your opportunity to learn how the famous TV personality, Katie Couric, lost those “hammocks” that swing under the arm. You know, those flags that flap under your arms – or granny arms.
In just one hour, Central Arizona College’s own “Katie” will teach you the simple exercises that will help you strengthen your arms and tone up those drifting muscles.
This class, which is free to Central Arizona Lifelong Learners (C.A.L.L.) members and costs only $15 for non-members, will meet every Monday at 10 a.m. from June 2-July 21.
Come to just the first session or to all of them – your choice – to learn the routine and to practice, practice, practice. Learning the simple routine will make you look and feel younger, more fit, and wear sleeveless clothing with pride.
Besides doing the routine, our “Katie” will give you valuable information on health and nutrition, ideas for fitness and a variety of other interesting topics to develop strength and to burn more calories with increased muscle tone.
As our “Katie”, who is really C.A.L.L. member Toni Cannizzaro, says, “I like to give people an exercise fitness log to track their routine, repetitions and weights used. Everyone will see progress within a month.”
Cannizzaro also will give suggestions on starting other simple routines to help with a total fitness feeling.
