Expanded hours, orientation, First Step & summer classes all on docket at the Aravaipa Campus
WINKELMAN, Ariz. – Central Arizona College’s Aravaipa Campus will be a hub of activity for members of the community looking to take college courses this summer.
On Thursday, May 22, orientation for summer school and the college’s First Step program will be held in the student services cafeteria from 5-7 p.m.
Anyone interested in working toward a degree or certificate, or wanting to take college credits, is strongly encouraged to attend the orientation. The program will help new students with the multitude of services offered by Central Arizona College.
Central’s First Step program allows high school students who are residents of Pinal County to earn up to seven free college credits during the summer immediately following their sophomore, junior or senior year.
Registration is now underway at all of the institution’s nine campuses and centers with summer classes beginning Tuesday, May 27.

Central’s expanded summer hours will begin on Monday, May 12, to accommodate the needs of Pinal County’s residents. All of Central’s locations, including the Aravaipa Campus, will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
