|Faculty Senate 2012-2013|
The purpose of the Faculty Senate shall be to promote the general welfare of the college by providing Faculty representation in matters that involve and/or concern Faculty members. The Senate constitutes the collective voice of the Faculty working with the administrative personnel and with the Governing Board of the college in order to develop and execute policies for the college.
To implement the purposes, the Senate must do the following:
a. Review existing and proposed policies and procedures from Faculty and Administrative personnel.
b. Initiate appropriate policy proposals for consideration by Faculty, Administration, and Governing Board.
c. Represent Faculty at the regularly scheduled meetings of the Governing Board.
d. Investigate cases where dissatisfaction exists related to Faculty or student issues or concerns.

Faculty Senate meeting are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 3-4:15 PM in ITV. A second meeting date is reserved for the 4th Tuesday of the month if needed. These meetings can be accessed from any campus or site. All Faculty are welcome!
